We offer our services to municipal, commercial and private residential customers. Our Services
Vegetation Treatment and Removal
An initial application is done with systemic, aquatic approved, herbicides to undesirable vegetation. This is done by a licensed herbicide applicator approximately two weeks prior to removal of the undesirable vegetation. When it is completely dead, it is then removed from the waterbody, wetland or natural area using specialized equipment and low ground pressure equipment using BMP’s.
Beach Containment Systems
We offer construction of beach containment systems next to your lakefront that will NOT wash into the lake. The containment system is aesthetically pleasing as a standalone sandbox, or it can be added onto with benches, a stone firepit, or a pergola and a swing! (Beach sand washing into a natural lake is potentially a serious and costly violation by the Florida DEP)
Wetland Restoration/ Creation
Planting native trees, grasses and herbaceous plants to natural habitats after removing the invasive, nonnative undesirable vegetation of shorelines, wetlands, natural areas and created wetlands. We have perfected a process for installing cypress trees a few feet into the water! Wetland restoration is our specialty.
Gopher Tortoise Relocation
We provide relocation services to consultants that are working for developers and land managers that have need to move the State-Designated Threatened species, the gopher tortoise. They are carefully excavated from their burrows on sites that are soon to be impacted by a development, or other project, to be relocated to a mitigation site. We have years of experience working with local consulting and land planning firms operating machinery at their direction to excavate the burrows.
Sediment Removal
Removal of sediment is the newest service we offer. We have designed a mobile system for the cleaning of sand and other sediment from canals, ponds, lakefronts and boat slips in a thorough and environ friendly safe manner. Sediment that has built up in front of out-flow pipes and control structures in ponds, difficult to reach canals and boat slips can now be cleaned out with our new sediment removal system.
