This is accomplished by planting beneficial natives along the shoreline to uptake extra nutrients, provide wildlife habitat, and prevent erosion as well as adding fountains and aeration systems to improve the flow of water. The plants and water circulation aid in eliminating the growth of algae while enhancing the appearance of the pond.

Pond maintenance includes treatment of algae and nuisance vegetation and trash removal.
